Services and prices
A fixed-price design review, then a prototype quoted by a published method. Each step ends in something you can hand to a supplier, an investor or your own team.
Design review (DFM)
€450
Fixed, for one part, one process and one finish. Larger scopes are fixed in writing before work starts. If you go ahead with the prototype, the fee comes off its invoice in full.
Your model checked against the rules of the process it will be made with, a written report, and a fixed quote for the prototype.
You send
- The STEP file, and the drawing if one exists
- The material and finish you have in mind
- The quantity: one, a few hundred or a few thousand
- What the part must do, in a sentence or two
You get
- A written report on wall and skin thickness, internal radii, tool access, draft, tolerance stack, material and finish. Each finding names the supplier rule or standard it comes from.
- Markup on your drawing or on views of the model
- The questions a supplier will ask, answered or flagged
- A fixed written quote for the prototype
- One round of questions by mail or on a call
Not included
- Remodelling the part. That is the prototype.
- Production supplier quotes. That is sourcing.
Prototype
A fixed quote after the review
Built by the published method. It does not move once you accept it.
The reviewed design engineered into a model and drawings ready for manufacture, then made on the process production will use, assembled and inspected.
| Design fee | Fixed after the review, from the engineering hours the review shows the design needs. |
|---|---|
| Parts | Supplier cost as invoiced, with freight and import duty, plus 20 % for sourcing, supplier contact and the risk of a remake. |
| Assembly and inspection | €146 per hour, with the hours estimated in the quote. |
You get
- A parametric CAD model and production drawings with toleranced features
- A DFM pass on the result, with the rules cited
- The CAD handover audit: valid solids, no leftover features, no interference at tolerance limits
- Parts made, assembled and inspected, with measurements against the drawing
Production sourcing
A written quote after the review
You have the price before any work starts.
An RFQ pack from the audited CAD goes to about ten suppliers. Their quotes come back compared line by line, then samples, first-article inspection and checks through the run.
- Drawings, material and finish specification, inspection plan, and the questions each supplier must answer
- Quotes from CNC, moulding and finishing suppliers, normalised into one comparison: price, lead time, tooling, finish and freight
- Sample approval and first-article inspection against the drawing
What fits
Parts and small assemblies that fit on a desk: machined metal, 3D printing, moulded plastic and sheet metal, from a one-off to a few thousand pieces.
Prices are in euros. If your part is bigger, or you are not sure it fits, ask before you send anything.
